Traveling abroad? cool da!

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine

I have not seen much of India and that is a shame. India is called a baby continent coz it has most of the geographical wonders of nature. Lot of Indians are crazy about visiting foreign countries. I mean many even go to great lengths to please their boss and go on a foreign assignment, while the task could have been accomplished via a video conference. People vacation abroad, even before they have experienced India. They visit and experience brands which are already available in India! I think people reading this post might find me wrong, i find my analysis wrong, i mean why cant people travel abroad? Well i get the feeling its like skipping chapters in a book while reading. Shooting from chapter one to twenty, i think people have to first discover India and then move further into other geographies, cultures and chapters in life.

I would love to discover India first before going anywhere outside. Even otherwise i don’t see the need to travel to foreign countries, with globalization one can experience a different culture locally.

“People travel to faraway places to watch, in fascination, the kind of people they ignore at home.” – Dagobert D. Runes

Yes i have mentioned a Japan vacation in my profile but that does not mean i would love to go, its a wish because i find that country unique and its culture magical. Its like if i am done discovering India or if i have to vacation abroad due to circumstances that would be a cool country to explore.

Also i don’t think i can afford to travel abroad, i don’t think i can visit most of India, anyway ha!

Travel also is pleasurable when you have a good travel companion or when with friends. A good travel experience requires a person to be of certain intellect and also a lil extrovert. I guess i could pull it of in India but imagine me abroad, it would be hysterical!

Hey i think people who travel abroad are cool but when their is so much to discover and experience in India. I question myself in a curious tone. Why would i want to travel abroad?

“There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
